Aquagold

AQUAGOLD® fine touch™ is a microneedling, virtually painless Class I medical device designed for intradermal treatments. The device consists of a vial attached to a head with 20 micro-needles. The micro-needles use a patented screw-like thread design that helps deliver therapeutic solutions into the intradermal space.

Durability Identically constructed micro-needles with a diameter of 250 μm were tested for durability. After 30,000 test applications, no visible wear was observed.

Efficacy Porcine and rat skin were punctured using AQUAGOLD® fine touch™ filled with India Ink. Histological assessment confirmed skin puncture by the micro-needles. The micro-needle used in these studies had a diameter of 250 μm, and the penetration depth was 174 μm. Scanning electron microscopy confirmed the presence of ink in the skin.

Placement Depending on the therapeutic viscosity, repeated stamping with AQUAGOLD® fine touch™ (5-50 applications) may be required for proper coverage. We recommend preparing the treatment area with these initial passes.
